Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) was invited to a dodgeball tournament at Brandon University, Manitoba last weekend. Even though this was Brandon University’s 9th year hosting the tournament, “Battle on the Border” this was DCB’s first year competing.

The Dakota College Entrepreneurial Center for Horticulture and Specialty Crops department are holding a high tunnel workshop for educators on October 19th from 9 AM to 6 PM on the Dakota College at Bottineau campus.
DCB has just signed a contract with a company called UNESCO to make numerous improvements to the college’s lighting systems, heating and ventilation controls, building weather-stripping and sealing, and plumbing fixtures. The most noticeable change will be the replacement of existing lighting with LED technology.

Bottineau VFW Post 8688 presents a $250.00 check to Dawn Romfo, Dr. Migler and Jackie Migler for the DCB Nursing Program. The Bottineau VFW has established the fund to assist anyone desiring a career in nursing and attending DCB for a nursing degree.
Dakota College at Bottineau’s (DCB) Campus Nurse, Susan Indvik has been selected by the Healthy Nurse, Healthy Nation Grand Challenge (HNHN GC) through the American Nurses Association (ANA) for a spotlight about health and wellness.
The North Dakota Association for Career and Technical Education (NDACTE) has recognized Trinity Health for its support of nursing education in the region. NDACTE presented Trinity Health with its Impact Award – an honor given annually to businesses and individuals that have had a positive impact on career and technical education programs in North Dakota.
The Dakota College at Bottineau Foundation is excited to announce the 36th annual fundraiser “Evergreen”. The 2019 date has been set for Saturday, September 21 at the Cobblestone Inn and Suites, Bottineau.
The USDA awarded Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) a Farmers Market Promotion Grant late last year. Partnering with FARRMS and collaborating with the North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association, this three-year grant will provide marketing and management strategies for the state’s farmers markets and its producers.
