Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) was recently rated one of the top three 2023 most affordable online colleges offering the Medical Assistant associate degree.
As a public institution, DCB offers career and technical programs on campus and online in six areas: business, computer technology, education and human development, health professions, natural resources, and photography. Founded as a forestry school in 1906, DCB serves as one of the eleven campuses in the North Dakota University System.
The online Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assistant is a health professions career and technical course offered to students interested in clinical and administrative skills training. Medical assistants play an integral role in healthcare teams by helping deliver high-quality patient care. Students complete 60-61 credit hours to graduate, which may take as little as two years of full-time attendance. 100% of DCB’s applicants are accepted through the open admissions policy, and 31% of students graduate with degrees.
This spring, Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) ND Farm Management Education (NDFME) instructors held the 2022 Region 2 average presentation at each of the instructing locations. Presentations were held in their respective instructing communities of Minot, Bottineau, Rugby by Lynsey Aberle, Dr. Linda Burbidge and Morgan Stutrud. These meetings informed producers as well as lenders of the average results for the 2022 production season and answered questions that attendees had about the results or the NDFME Program.
