Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) will gather to observe Arbor Day on Friday, October 13 in recognition of its appreciation and commitment to trees on the DCB campus. This commitment and passion dates to DCB’s history from when it first opened as the School of Forestry in 1906 and it continues to this day. This same care, and passion is shared with faculty, staff, students, and the community as DCB seeks to meet its vision of “adapting to the changing educational landscape to empower students and impact communities.”
Since 1982 Dakota College at Bottineau Alumni Association has hosted an Awards Recognition banquet that honors athletes, students, supportive community members, and alumni. The DCB Alumni Association accepts nominations for the Golden Service, Friend of the College, and Young Alumnus awarded annually. The Alumni Association and Lumberjack Athletic Hall of Fame recipients will be acknowledged at the Awards Recognition Banquet, Saturday, October 21, 2023, in an event at the Cobblestone Inn, Bottineau.
