Dakota College at Bottineau’s Campus Dean Corey Gorder recently celebrated with the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team as they took the Gold on Sunday at the 2026 Paralympic Games held in Milano-Cortina, Italy.

Careers in emergency medicine continue to grow in both popularity and demand. Dakota College at Bottineau offers the Paramedic Technology program at its Minot location, and applications are now being accepted for the 14-month program.

Medical Lab Tech Program Approved
Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is pleased to announce that the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has officially approved the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Medical Lab Technician (MLT) Program. This approval confirms the program meets the quality standards expected of accredited degree-granting institutions and supports DCB’s mission to provide high-quality career and technical education.
DCB Instructor Co-Authors Book with Daughter
Adjunct instructor Dr. George Ackerman with Dakota College at Bottineau recently co-authored a book with his daughter, Brooke Ackerman. Passionate about telling the story of his mother’s life experience with Parkinson’s disease, Dr. Ackerman published “I Love You, Grandma Sharon!” Brooke & Grandma’s Days with Parkinson’s Disease.
