Lindgren Accepts Director Position

Dakota College at Bottineau is happy to announce Misty Lindgren has accepted the Director for Academic Affairs position. The Director for Academic Affairs assists with the development and review of curriculum and provides input to comprehensive academic planning.

Misty was selected due to her innovative skill set, specifically in opportunities that align with the academic mission and new programs. She will be responsible for managing a broad range of activities in support of strategic planning, accreditation, scholarly activity, academic support, and faculty development.

Misty has her Bachelor of Science in Education and brings over 14 years of higher education experience to this position. Prior to her move to Dakota College at Bottineau, Misty was the Director for Extended Learning and Teacher Pathways at Valley City State University.
Kayla O’Toole, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs is excited Misty has joined the Dakota College team.  “We are very fortunate to have Misty join our team and I look forward to working with her. She brings a vast amount of experience in higher education and will be an asset to the institution. Her experience at VCSU is a great fit for DCB. We have wonderful things happening here, and I’m excited to see where the future takes us.”
