The Bottineau County Veterans recently hosted a pancake breakfast. Proceeds from the breakfast benefited the Dakota Nursing program at Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB).
Paige Baade, Assistant Dean for Nursing and Health Professions, shares, I am very grateful for this generous support and look forward to awarding the donation to nursing scholarships”. The $1500.00 raised will be split into three $500 nursing scholarships for DCB students enrolled in the Practical Nurse or Associate in Applied Science Nursing program.
Dakota College at Bottineau’s practicum is a member of the Dakota Nursing Program, a consortium of community college nursing departments that work together to offer a common curriculum for a Practical Nursing Certificate and an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing.
With programs in Bottineau, Minot and Valley City, Dakota College at Bottineau works to meet North Dakota’s growing need for nurses by providing these degree programs at three locations. The program collaborates with medical centers across the state of ND, where students gain practical experience.
