Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) proudly announces the establishment of a Dental Assisting Program, set to commence in August 2024 at its Dakota College Downtown location. This initiative marks a significant milestone for DCB, as it expands its educational offerings to meet the growing demand for skilled dental professionals in the region.

The program, housed in a newly remodeled facility located at 120 Burdick Expressway, Minot, is designed with state-of-the-art equipment tailored to prepare students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of dental assisting. Under the guidance of experienced faculty members, students will receive comprehensive training in various aspects of dental assisting, ensuring they are well-prepared for successful careers upon completion of the program.

"We are thrilled to introduce our accredited Dental Assisting Program to the Minot community," said Kris Pladson, Dental Program Director. "This initiative underscores our commitment to providing high-quality education and addressing the needs of the healthcare industry. We are confident that our program will not only prepare students for rewarding careers but also contribute to the overall improvement of dental care in the region."

The Dental Assisting Program has received Initial Accreditation from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), affirming its adherence to rigorous standards of excellence in dental education. This accreditation ensures that students receive education of the highest quality and relevance, setting them on a path to professional success.

Applications for the inaugural cohort of students are now being accepted.
