DCB Welcomes Staff Opportunities

Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is excited to share in-house promotion news along with new staff hired on the Bottineau campus this fall.

Casey Pierson, Recruiting Specialist, Assistant AD - Originally from Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Casey graduated from SNHU with a bachelor's in business administration with a focus in Sport Management in 2022. He spent two years as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at DCB from 2022 to 2024. After leaving DCB, he spent one year as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Oberlin College, a 4-year D3 school in Oberlin, Ohio. He also spent that year traveling around the Great Lakes area, working at basketball camps, and gaining experience in leadership roles. Casey returned to DCB as the Recruiting Specialist, Assistant Men's Basketball Coach, and recently accepted the Assistant Athletic Director duties this fall.

Michael Leader, IT Specialist – Michael started part-time with DCB the summer of 2024. He showed a strong interest in technology, and his creativity developed a 3D printing process on campus. DCB is excited to have Michael working full-time now, where he will help students, staff, and faculty with technology. 

 

 

 

BrandvoldSusan4x4.jpgSusan Brandvold, Student Health Nurse - Susan joined DCB as the Student Health Nurse. She graduated from Trinity School of Nursing in 1982. Retiring this spring, Susan worked 17 1/2 years at Trinity Hospital and then 28 years at First District Health Unit as the Bottineau County Public Health Nurse. She is thrilled to continue using her nursing skills to “support the students attending DCB by meeting their health needs”.
 

 

AmyotteBernice4x4.pngBernice Amyotte, Custodial Services – DCB is excited to reintroduce Bernice to campus. She worked for DCB for two years and took a year to explore other custodial opportunities. Bernice has expertise in custodial services and sets a positive example for others.

 

 

 

GableAnita4x4.jpgAnita Gable – Anita started at DCB less than a year ago in the Business Office as the Cashier-Clerk. Recognizing her talent and willingness to promote DCB’s mission, Anita has been promoted within the Business Office to an Accounting-Finance Technician.
