Dakota College Employees Host Sale
Dakota College at Bottineau held their eighteenth annual rummage this week. Dakota College employees hold this event each year to support local community charities and service groups. The 2020 event was not held due to COVID precautions.
The annual sale has generated over $20,000 in donations distributed throughout the Bottineau community over the past eighteen years. To name a few, recipients have included the Turtle Mountain Cancer Support Group, Forestry Park, Independence Inc. Bottineau Fire Departments, Food Pantry, VFW, Girl Scouts, Imagination Library. This year DCB employees opened the event only to the campus community which provided $502.15 to the Friends of DCB fund. The Friends of DCB project is an on-campus recognition program.
The committee looks forward to hosting a community sale next spring to support local community charities and service groups. The sale has historically been held annually the first part of April.
