Enrollment for Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is up this fall, with headcount hitting another all-time high. The North Dakota University System calculates official fall enrollment for all 11 colleges and universities on the 20th instructional day of the semester. This year, that day was September 22, 2025.

Headcount enrollment at DCB is 1,242 students, surpassing last year’s record-breaking mark by 36 students. Full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment at DCB is also up, reaching the 621-mark for fall 2025, up from 590 in fall 2024. FTE is calculated by taking the total number of credits for which students are registered and dividing by 15 credits, which is the number the North Dakota University System uses for determining a full-time student.

Dakota College at Bottineau is a student-focused and community-centered community college. Located close to the Canadian border. DCB is known for its strong liberal arts offerings and growing healthcare programs not only in Bottineau, but also at campuses located in Minot and Valley City. DCB continues to see strong enrollments in both online and dual-credit coursework.
