Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is excited to recognize students at the 2026 commencement ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the gym located in Thatcher Hall and will recognize 114 of the 202 graduating students on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 3:00 pm. The commencement event will also be live streamed.
DCB has students graduating in liberal arts and transfer degrees and career and technical degrees, which include, but are not limited to, accounting technology, agriculture management, health care, business, paraprofessional education, horticulture, and natural resources. Students are candidates for associate degrees and certificates.
DCB student guest speaker, Emanuell Weber, has been selected by the faculty and staff to share a few words at the commencement ceremony. Emanuell is from Kindred, ND, the daughter of Nate and Nikki Weber. Graduating DCB with Horticulture AAS degree, her next steps are NDSU, majoring in Horticulture with a minor in Landscape Architecture. Emanuell’s goal is to work at a landscape company as a Landscape Designer. Emanuell wants to become a designer that clients can trust and rely on, to bring their ideas and visons to life. She wants to help people turn their plans into beautiful landscapes they can enjoy and be proud of. Currently, Emanuell works at DCB in the Student Services office part-time. She is a member of the Lumberjacks Softball team and Green Bandana Project on campus. She also serves as the President of Phi Theta Kappa, and a Resident Assistant in Milligan Hall.
Along with a strong liberal arts curriculum, DCB is known for its robust distance-learning program through online courses and dual credit offerings at area high schools.
