Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is excited to recognize students at the 2025 commencement ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the gym located in Thatcher Hall and will recognize 105 of the 180 graduating students on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 3:00 pm. The commencement event will also be streamed.

DCB has students graduating in liberal arts and transfer degrees and career and technical degrees, which include, but are not limited to, accounting technology, agriculture management, health care, business, paraprofessional education, horticulture, and natural resources. Students are candidates for associate degrees and certificates.

Along with a strong liberal arts curriculum, DCB is known for its robust distance-learning program through online courses and dual credit offerings at area high schools. Through its dual-credit program, DCB has 30 Leading to Education and Advanced Preparation (LEAP) graduates. Of these, 26 are completing a Certificate of College Studies, 2 are completing a Certificate of Completion, and 2 are completing an Associate of Science.

Emma is from Bottineau, the daughter of Codi and Travis Rybchinski. Graduating from DCB with Liberal Arts AA and AS degrees, her next steps are UND, majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. After completing a master’s degree, Emma’s goal is to work in a hospital setting, assisting patients with their nutritional needs. Emma wants to become the type of Dietitian who builds trust with patients while guiding them on their nutrition journey, educating them on the importance of nutrition, and guiding them on their personal health journey with a positive mindset of nutrition.  Currently, Emma works at Building Blocks Learning Center and the Bottineau Country Club. She is a member of the Lumberjack softball team, DCB student senate, Phi Theta Kappa Chapter, and a Resident Assistant for Milligan Hall.
