About Hattie

Hattie Albertson currently serves as the director of Dakota College at Bottineau Library. Her research interests include assessment and institutional effectiveness, information literacy, information services, and digital librarianship.  Originally a high school English teacher, Hattie enjoys working with students and assisting with academic work that she does not have to correct.  She also strives to increase pleasure reading for all library patrons through promotion of new physical materials as well as access to DCB Library’s digital collection. When Hattie is not in the serenely quiet confines of the library she can be found in her loud house with her husband and three children. She enjoys picking up after everyone constantly, taking in all kid-related events, and most of all, bedtime stories.
