My teaching philosophy revolves around being there for my students by guiding and inspiring them. I know the unique challenges adult learners face as they pursue their education in an online atmosphere. Because of this, I make concerted efforts to reach out to each student individually and ensure them that I am there to help them succeed. I realize the importance of being flexible and accommodating. I think of myself as a mentor, instructor, and even friend to my students. I was one of those lucky people who was able to marry their high school sweetheart. I was a tennis teacher through a local rec center, and she was a student that signed up for my class three times. It took me that long to finally ask her out. I currently live in Utah with my wife and three children. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, 4-wheeling, playing soccer, tennis, and golf.
