About Tara

I grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming, but North Dakota has been my home since 2008. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from the University of Mary in Bismarck. I have worked in various patient care settings including nursing home care as a CNA, Medical Oncology RN in the hospital, and as a clinic RN in family practice. I am currently enrolled in my Master of Nursing Education with anticipated graduation date of December 2025.

In the clinical setting, I work with new nurses and watch their confidence grow as they become safe and competent nurses. I began teaching nursing students in 2020 and enjoy the opportunity to work with Dakota College at Bottineau and the Dakota Nursing Program as I share my knowledge and experiences with students.

I live in Minot with my husband, Nick, and two children, Henley and Gannon, as well as our chocolate labrador, Khaleesi. I enjoy camping in the summer and making memories with my family, as well as fishing and playing recreational volleyball.
