About Tara

I grew up in Sheridan, Wyoming, but North Dakota has been my home since 2008. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012 from the University of Mary in Bismarck, and my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Mayville State University in 2025. I have worked in various patient care settings, including nursing home care as a CNA, Medical Oncology RN in the hospital, and as a clinic RN in family practice.

In the clinical setting, I work with new nurses and watch their confidence grow as they become safe and competent nurses. I began teaching nursing students in 2020 and enjoy the opportunity to work with Dakota College at Bottineau and the Dakota Nursing Program, sharing my knowledge and experiences with students.

I live in Minot with my husband, Nick, and two children, Henley and Gannon, as well as our chocolate labrador Khaleesi. In the summer, our family enjoys traveling to the state parks to fish and camp, cherishing the time we spend making memories together.
