I was born and raised in North Dakota. I came to the Turtle Mountains over 30 years ago when I married Joel Brandvold. We have 2 children, Phillip and Jason. I worked as a registered nurse for 17.5 years at Trinity Health in Minot and for 28 years for First District Health Unit Bottineau County as the County Health Nurse. I recently retired in April of 2025. I had the opportunity to continue to work in this position. I recently became a grandmother when Phillip and Bethany adopted a little boy, Cohen, on August 27, 2025. He was born on April 1, 2025. We live west of St. John in the heart of the Turtle Mountains. And Love It. I enjoy reading, lawn mowing, and spending time with my family.
