About Leah
I am honored and excited to return to Dakota College at Bottineau as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach. DCB holds a special place in my heart, as I was fortunate to compete here as both a volleyball and basketball student-athlete. My experience as a Jack helped shape who I am today. The relationships I built, the lessons I learned, and the pride I felt representing DCB created a lifelong connection to this institution and community, which is one of the many things that brought my family back to Bottineau. Returning to lead the volleyball program is truly a full-circle moment for me. As a coach, I am passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the court. I believe in creating a positive, competitive environment that emphasizes hard work, accountability, teamwork, and personal development. My goal is to build a program that competes at a high level while also providing our student-athletes with an experience that prepares them for success beyond Dakota College at Bottineau. Outside of coaching, I am a proud mother of two young boys (Bruin & Barrett) who keep life busy and very fun! When I'm not in the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, golfing, and working in the garden. I am proud to be back at DCB and look forward to building strong relationships with our players, alumni, recruits, and community as we grow the Lumberjack Volleyball Program. GO JACKS!
