About Jacob
I am the IT Support Director for Dakota College. I started my IT career here at DCB in 2010 as a Desktop Support Technician. With the changing landscape and needs of IT, I was promoted to IT Systems Specialist in 2016. In 2024 I was finally promoted to the IT Support Director position. I have a passion for computers and technology. I enjoy setting up computer networks, building computer systems, and troubleshooting equipment when issues arise.
If I'm not at work, you can usually find me in the community either helping someone else with their IT needs, washing my car, or spending time with my young son. I have many hobbies that include listening to music, attending live concerts, collecting vinyl records, watching movies & TV series (the nerdier and funnier the better!) playing videos games, and off-roading on my ATV.
