Title IX Compliance Title IX policy is required by federal law (Title IX, Education Amendments of 1972) and implementation of this policy is guided by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights. In accordance with Title IX, Dakota College does not discriminate based on sex or gender identity in educational program and activities. Sexual misconduct and discrimination are prohibited in all forms, regardless of intent to harm. This includes sexual violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, coercion, and sexual harassment.
