Course materials will look at methods used in aquaponics production, variables, species characteristics of fish and plants, and integrated pest management techniques (IPM). Pre-/Co-requisites: HORT 141 – Introduction to Aquaponics Course Objectives: • Demonstrate understanding of aquaponics production methods. • Explain the proper steps used when changing variables within the aquaponics operation. • Describe environmental characteristics of different plant and fish species. • Display proficiency in daily operations pertaining to the fish and plant production.
