Associate Degree Nurse Faculty

LOCATION:  Dakota College at Bottineau distance site at Trinity St. Joseph Campus, Minot, ND.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT:  This is an 11-month, tenure, benefited position.

JOB SUMMARY: Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) is seeking an instructor to teach courses in its nursing program to undergraduate students in practical nursing and associate degree nursing programs.  Ther person selected for this position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, teaching and evaluation of student learning experiences in the classroom and clinical areas with nursing students enrolled in the Dakota Nursing Program.

Responsible for curriculum including online, selection of course materials, monitoring program progress, supervising part-time nursing instructors, nursing skills assessment, course instruction, course assessment and clinical supervision.  This position requires organization skills, technical and professional writing skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master of Science in Nursing, Nursing Education or related area, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program with an education plan approved by the CNE which will allow completion of the master's degree program within three years.

SALARY:Competitive salary based on education and experience.

Student Health Nurse  Part-time or Fulltime, 9-10 month position

This part-time of fulltime position involves providing health services to students at Dakota College at Bottineau.  Duties and responsibilities include: provide basic health care services; health and wellness education and programming, and providing support services for campus related health issues and concerns.

Qualifications Required: Current licensure as a registered nurse. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to relate to college students, ability to adhere to confidentiality rules and ethics of the nursing profession. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications Preferred:  One-year nursing experience as a clinical nurse, public health nurse or college level student health nurse. Current certification as a CPR Instructor.

Salary:  Open, depending on experience.

Starting Date: August 3, 2020.
