I am originally from a small town in Illinois, and after graduating from college and spending my 20s traveling, me and my three dogs found our way to North Dakota. I love the close community and opportunities for personal and professional growth that Bottineau and the college has provided. Professionally, I have worked in TRiO as a Learning Specialist, Program Coordinator, and now a Director, along with being an adjunct instructor for eight years. Throughout those eight years, I have taught Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, developmental English courses, along with orientation courses. I currently serve as the DCB PTK co-advisor, as Vice President for the Family Crisis Center Board of Directors in Bottineau, and as a member of the ASPIRE North Dakota Native American committee. I enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, cooking, woodworking, and playing my banjo.
