About Mike

I enjoy teaching because I get to trade and examine ideas with students and colleagues. The courses I teach involve communications, research and literature and give me wonderful opportunity to trade and examine those ideas both in class and individual writing conferences. When I am not teaching, I enjoy outdoor sports especially fishing and hunting. I get to incorporate those activities into my curricular world in the ice fishing class and the hunter safety classes I teach. The rural area and small campus allows me the opportunity to get to know students in my present position at DCB and enjoy my outdoor activities.
