The Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) Caring Foundation has awarded thirty $2,500 scholarships to health profession students attending North Dakota colleges, universities, or technical colleges. This is the seventh year the BCBSND Caring Foundation has provided this scholarship opportunity. The health profession scholarship program helps fulfill the Caring Foundation’s goal of improving the health and well-being of North Dakotans by investing in the education of tomorrow’s healthcare professionals. The foundation helps address the shortage of critical health professionals by providing financial assistance to aspiring students across the state.

Dakota College at Bottineau’s (DCB) Agriculture and Natural Resource instructors were in Washington D.C. this fall for the National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education (NSF-ATE) Principal Investigator’s conference. DCB earned the NSF-ATE grant from the U.S. government’s independent science agency in 2023.
