What made you decide to attend Dakota College at Bottineau?
The chance to play hockey and the lower price of school.
How did you first hear about Dakota College at Bottineau?
Growing up, I always knew it was in Bottineau but didn’t start seriously looking at the school until my senior year when I wanted to continue to play hockey and get an education.
What is your favorite part of learning on a smaller campus?
The professors and staff care about your success and are always there to help you.
Why did you decide to attend a two-year college verses a four-year?
The lower cost and a chance to play college athletics right away. It is also a nice transition from high school to college.
What do you think is the best part about DCB?
All of the friends and people you meet while getting a good education. Also, all of the good times you have and memories you make.
What is DCB's “best-kept-secret” that no one ever told you about and you absolutely love?
The Milligan Hall dorm life. I have met many new friends and had a lot of fun.
How do you feel about the small classroom sizes?
I enjoy being in the smaller classroom environment and think it helps me learn. It also helps you create better relationships with your professors.
What is one thing you would like to tell a prospective student about DCB?
DCB is a great place to start your education at an affordable price while making many new friends and having plenty of fun.
If you attend athletic events, what do you think of the game/crowd?
I enjoy the games very much. The crowd is always full of excitement and very into the games.
If you PLAY sports, what made you choose DCB?
The chance to play college hockey and scholarship money.
What's your favorite part of living in the dorm?
There is always something to do or someone to hang out with. You are never bored and always have friends nearby.
What do you like best about your program?
The professors are all very helpful and understanding when I am gone for hockey. I also learned a lot of new things and took some fun classes.
What was your favorite on-campus activity?
The sporting events.
I am very glad I made the decision to attend DCB; it couldn’t have worked out any better.
