Online Technical Requirements

Below is a list of technical requirements for online Dakota College at Bottineau students:

• Access to the Internet - highspeed Internet is recommended, but dial-up will work.
• It is recommended that all students use Mozilla Firefox as the primary browser to access classes. Click here to download Firefox. Internet Explorer will work as well, but it is not the recommended browser.
• Make sure you have updated java. You can download the latest update by clicking here.
• Students should have Microsoft Word installed as well. This program is not free. If you do not have MS Word, you can download Open Office, which will allow you to create MS word documents. Click here to download Open Office.
