Well-maintained lawns, gardens, and grounds create a positive first impression and increase property values. Grounds workers perform a variety of tasks to create an attractive and functional outdoor environment.
The Basic Grounds Worker Skills Certificate of Completion program provides foundational knowledge for entry into the fields of lawn care, park and grounds maintenance, residential tree care, and landscape installation. All classes in the program except Urban Forestry Skills are available through online study.
Prerequisite Skills Participants must have basic knowledge of computers and the Internet.
