Dakota College at Bottineau has two different types of degree programs. Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are designed for students who want to earn a degree in two-years or less and then enter the work force. Transfer programs are designed for students who want to earn a two-year degree and transfer to another institution to pursue a four-year degree. Both types of degree programs are available online.


Career and Technical Education (CTE) Programs

 

Advertising & Marketing

In the era of Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, businesses have to be more creative than ever to communicate their message to the public. Gain the skills and strategies used by today’s advertising, PR, and sales professionals by getting an advertising or marketing degree from Dakota College at Bottineau. You can go directly into entry-level employment or transfer your credits to a four-year school.

 

Caregiver Services

Child Option: This caregiving option prepares individuals to work with children in a variety of settings including daycare centers, preschool programs, home childcare and schools. Students learn to plan activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children. NAEYC standards are used as a foundation for the early childhood coursework. (AAS or Certificate of Completion)

Adult Option: This caregiving option prepares individuals to provde care both to adults who are elderly and individuals with disabilities. Caregivers can work as independent contractors to provide services that allow individuals to remain in their homes or as employees of nursing home and adult care centers. (AAS or Diploma)

Dakota College at Bottineau offers web design courses, IT instruction, and training on the standard commercial software programs that nearly every business uses.
