Golf Course Maintenance

The Bismark Parks and Recreation District is currently accepting applications for a full-time Golf Course Maintenance position.
The position wil require employee to work during the golf season for the Facilties and Programs Golf Operations Divison and will be transferred to one of the other divisions during the off season, appoximately November through March, weather dependent.

The position requires an Associate's Degree or higher in a field related directly to the job description or high school (or equivalent) with a minimum of three years experience.

Starting bi-weekly salary range is $1,250-$1,450 and will include the standards employee fringe beneifts of the Bismarck Parks and Recreation District.

Minimum Qualifications:

Able to clearly communicate and dispense information to park visitors in person or by telephone.
Able to use Point of Sale system, copier, and various office equipment.
Able to operate computer with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Able to clearly communicate instructions, directions, and information to staff and general public.
Able to work with vendors in organizing events/activities.
Able to order necessary inventories.
Able to train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate staff.

Requires adequate math knowledge to accurately perform routine daily functions to include balancing and recording daily sales receipts.

Responsible for the daily inventory of passes and permits, and for the daily park accounting of cash receipts and deposits including verifications and required revenue reports.
May supervise and/or participate in responsibilities related to visitor information, reservations, pass and permit sales, park rental contracts, and park concession operations. Maintains park concession inventories for the park.
Communicate with the park manager on visitor concerns, suggestions and comments of park visitor services.

Must be at least 18 years of age
Able to respond to medical and other emergency situations in a variety of terrain settings
Able to withstand exposure to varying weather conditions/temperatures for extended periods, and work effectively during daylight or nighttime hours
Able to move 50-100 lbs. on a regular basis
Able to clearly communicate on and operate park radios and base stationAble to operate power tools and equipment
Able to successfully complete law enforcement requirements
Requires a valid drivers license with ability to operate motor vehicles to include car, tractor, riding mower.

Summary of Work:
Responsible to the park manager, the classified park ranger, or the supervisory park ranger (Temporary) for performing park administration, maintenance, enforcement, interpretation, safety and visitor services programs in a state park. Requires ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Enforcement of state laws and park rules and regulations which involves routine patrol, park user assistance, and fee collection.
May be required to participate in the interpretive activities of the park including campfire programs, nature/historical walk, and special programs.
Assists in the maintenance of the park and its facilities.
Assists in the administration of park operations including preparation and submission of required reports and records.
Assists in visitor services programs of the park including fee collection, visitor facility use, land use programs, safety programs, and public relations programs.

Gooseneck Implement has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Intern in our Minot location. Successful candidates will have an opportunity to understand and become actively involved with sales-related activities within the dealership. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Participates in project assignments centered-around sales-related activities at the dealership.- Applicant must currently be enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
