Fund Raising Campaign
Alumni Dues Campaign
The membership campaign is conducted annually with proceeds used for scholarships, the Alumni Newsletter, and other expenses.
The phon-a-thon is conducted in October each year. Students, staff, and alumni make calls in the evenings over a two week period to solicit pledges from alumni and friends of the college.
Alumni and friends volunteer each year to take tickets at the main gate of the Bottineau County Fair. Proceeds from this event are used as determined necessary by the Alumni Board of Directors.
The Alumni Association accepts general memorials in any amount. The memorials are listed in the Newsletter and acknowledgements are sent to the individual's family and to the donor. Memorial gifts are an excellent way to remember a special person and support the work of the college.
Memory Tree Memorials
The Memory Tree is a tree-shaped wall plaque installed in the entry of Thatcher Hall by the Alumni Association. Brass plates engraved with the name of the donor and the person memorialized are attached to the tree. Contributions for brass plates to the Memory Tree are accepted at minimum for the first donor and additional per added donor on the same plate. Memory Tree acknowledgements are sent to the individual's family and to the donor. The Memory Tree memorial is also listed in the Newsletter.
