ACCT 200 - Elements of Accounting I
3 Semester Hour Credits

Course Description: This course is a study of accounting, beginning with the basics of the accounting cycle.  Students will be working with the double-entry system of accounting to gain the foundation necessary to move to special topics and other business applications.

Schedule: Online

Delivery Method: All assignments are completed and submitted online.  Students are not expected to come to campus for this course.

Exams - Policies & Procedures:

The exams are taken online using Connect Accounting.  The exams are timed and must be completed in one sitting.  Exams cannot not be saved and restarted. Students are able to take the test anytime during the testing window displayed in Connect Accounting.  Students may use their textbooks during the exams but not work with others to complete the exam. 
 
During the semester, students will complete four exams covering 11 chapters.  The final test covers the last two chapters of the covered during the semester.   This course will not have a comprehensive final test.
